Another beautiful day is here. Not much going on, just taking it easy today. I need a movie to watch, does anyone have any good recommendations. Thinking about watching "The Perfect Storm", as I've never seen it. A friend of mine is embarking on a great journey today. I wish her all the happiness in the world while on her vacation and wait anxiously for her safe return.

I saw something this morning that was rather interesting. You can find it here but be forewarned, there are dirty words coming from little mouths. It's a political video on the "seven words you cannot say in kindergarten" which I think makes it's point. After watching the video, I made my way to the guys blog where there is a discussion going on about the video. Some of the posts bring up interesting points to me. How do you feel about cursing, more importantly children cursing? I know when I was growing up, the words were never taught to me (I picked them up at school). I heard my parents say them every now and then, but they were never directly told to me. I'm not so sure this was the best approach to the situation. I believe with my children that from an early age they will know most of the curses in our language, but they will know that using word such words will cause them to be looked upon unfavorably, by me the parent and by the public. There's no stopping the learning of such, no matter how much you try to keep it out. Learning when and when not to curse is the real battle. After all, they are just words, right?

What do you think? Leave a comment!

Today's useless knowledge -

OK well I'm not commenting on the kids cussing thing, but here are some movies that I like, maybe you would too. It's a long list I know (I hardly ever watch a movie I dont like), so hopefully there's at least one on here you haven't seen that you would like.

(Rentables:)

Diary of a Mad Black Woman
The Patriot
Saving Private Ryan
Hart's War
The Ring :)
The Grudge
The Phantom of the Opera (the 2004 one!!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT! not the old one)
Pirates of the Caribbean
9 to 5 (yeah the like 1980 Dolly parton movie, je l'aime!)
Envy
The Incredibles!!! :)
HellBoy (one of my favorites)
[Napoleon Dynamite would go here if I had included it in this list]

ok... there's tons more but I can't think of any off the top of my head, so there you go! :) Cya! :) *huggles, tuggles, and pounce!*
Love ya! <3 ~Lotte
